Anyway, today was pretty random.

I kinda am getting addicted/ hooked to the rubix cube.

You know that cube,

with the colors,

gotta solve for it.

Recently, there's been a rubix cube freenzy.

Seriously.

Like everywhere I go...

there's at least ONE.

I watch a really weird and funny

and in a way cruel video

in Biology today.

It was showing how a Killer Whale hunted

Its preys were cute sea lions.

SO anyway, the killer whale basically swims up to the shore

like a torpedo!

WHOOSH.

Thats where all the sealions are (btw)

Then it opens its mouth

and...

SWALLOWS ONE OF THE SEALIONS UP!

Then the whale makes its way back to the ocean

It wriggles like a fish,

and as it does that,

the poor sealion in the mouth gets trashed.

Its gets all flinged around.

LOL.

Sad, I know.

Then in the ocean,

it starts playing with its food.

Like tossing the sealion around.

The sealion basically is doing summersaults

in and out of the water,

getting tossed around.

Someone should teach the whales

not to play with their food.

LOL

this is a pretty depressing post.

Although I had steamboat/hotpot family tradition
last night,
It wasn't the same.

Every Chinese New Year,
My family would go back to
Penang
(in Malaysia aka parents hometown)
to celebrate
New Years.

It was crazy.
So many people in the house.
Grandparents
Cousins
Aunts
Uncles
Distant Cousins
People from China who I'm related to and don't even know
Friends
yeap.
Family like everywhere you turn.

There's the-
New clothes
of course,
FOODDDD
Card Games
Red Packets!!
Steamboat/HotPot

I think that's the best part.
When the entire family has dinner together.
It's just so much fun.
We'd have like 3 hotpots,
4tables
and a bunch of family and friends.

It's crazy.
The adults talk the night away
The uncles get drunk... sometimes...
We kids are playing Big 3,
drinking so much soda we loose track...
I mean A LOT.
I think I used to drink like 10cans in one day
or more.
No kidding.

The next day I'd tag along with my cousins when they went to visit their relatives.
Just so I can get more Red Packets.
hehehe
It was fun.
Lots of fun.

This year was certainly not the best.
Nothing really has been lately.
T_T"
I sound so emo.

One positive thing is...
I got 1 dollar from school.
Asian Club.
LOL
That sounds so pathetic.

To sum it all up.
Chinese New Years
this year,
SUCKS.

Talent Show

Okay... so I went to my church's talent show last night.
I'd have to say I give it
a 6 out of 10.

My brother and sister did a skit.
I give them
a 5 out of 10.

Actually...

I give my sister a 10 out of 10
my brother a
2 out of 10

See... my brother did not play his part well.
He didn't cooperate with my sister
He was not even trying.
He wasn't even a bit funny.

My sister on the other hand,
She got everyone to laugh.
She was awesome out there.

Next time,
I am so not letting my brother play big roles
in the skits I make.
I'm going to act in it myself.

Yeah,
the next skit I post,
I'll be in it!

Good Night!

I "OFFICIALLY" see snow.

Big Bear, no it isn't a big bear.
It's this mountain my family went to for Winter Break.
I have to say I, my whole family, really enjoyed it. ^^

Day 1 - Road trip!

Okay, the car ride to Big Bear was not the best because of 2 things.
#1 - My baby sister (Ellie) kept crying.
#2 - There was so many twists & turns on the way up to Big Bear.

<Ellie & Mommie!! <3 So it was about a 2 hour drive. The 1st hour was kind of boring. I was falling asleep, but I didn't let myself. Because I've never been on the 210 highway. The 2nd hour we were going up the mountain. It was beautiful. The mountains were just covered with snow. It really did look like cream covering it. The clouds that day was pretty low, it practically covered the peak of the mountains. Ellie choose the best time to wake up and cry, during our way up to Big Bear. Everyone got sick of her crying, so my dad pulled over. We all got out, walked around, took pictures! (obviously)
Ellie, of course, happy and all stopped crying.


My family arrived at Big Bear around 2:30pm, more or less. We drove around the lake and it was really cool, because I've never seen a frozen lake. The town reminded me of log toys. They're a bunch of log houses covered with snow, something you'd see on TV. Anyway, when we got to our cabin, it was really nice. It looked like a really cosy house. Speaking of cosy, the heater was not working! But with a fire place in the house, the house was nice & toasty! haha

We just stayed in there the rest of the day unpacking, preparing dinner and watching TV!! They have CABLE! I don't have cable, but that's not the point. The point is, THE TV IS SO CLEAR!!!!!! My TV's an antennae TV and it is SO BLURRY.

For dinner we had (what I call) Steamboat, (what Americans call) Hot pot. Yeap, it was GEWDDDD
JEALOUS??? hahaha >=D

After dinner, we played Twister! It was on a shelf there, so we just played!

Poor Audrey. Joseph's butt right in her face!

hmm... I think I'll just post pictures and explain. You know what they say, "A picture is worth a million words."

DAY 2 - SNOW!!!

We went to this "Discovery Center". It wasn't very interesting. I just liked the sights. We saw an eagle if that's interesting to you. haha

Later in the afternoon, we played in the snow.

There's this place (I forgot what it is called) You go down a slide made out of snow on those black tube thingys. We really had fun, only thing was that I got kinda sick after playing for 2 hours. =X
HA! In this video, I'm going down the slope and my brother & sister fell off their tube!
In the other, I bumped into my sister. haha.

Ooooh, my mom drove us (my sis & I) to this place where there's a lot of fresh snow. So, we were playing around and taking lots of pictures! There was a barn with Llamas in it too!

Day 3 - Going Home

On our last day, we went back to the same place with the Llama and snow. This time we brought my brother and baby sister!

It was lots of fun! hahaha
I'm embarrassing myself in this one. Hahaha. Oh well.


Later we were supposedly going to a Zoo, but my dad didn't want to pay for the 9 dollar admission fee. He said it was a rip off. I agree. 9 bucks to look at a bear and a few other animals. I'll go watch Discovery Channel.

HOME HOME HOME!!!

On the way home, we saw really nice sights. It was a bright clear day. Totally unlike the day we were going to Big Bear. We could see the city, valley, hills and the hills beyond!
