Dad's Birthday

My dad's birthday is coming up in like 4 days and I don't know what to do for him except bake a carrot cake like every single year. My mom had this idea of us buying him dinner, because my bro n sis saved up a lot of money and they can totally afford it. I can't chip in because I don't save. lol. I usually buy stuff I need like food, drinks, water, bus fares... I don't work either, which sucks, 'cuz dad won't let me. So basically, I can't chip in any money at all. Anyway, I want to do something for him. It really does suck that we as his kids can't do much for him. I feel bad. =( So right now, my brain is like thinking, what can we do for him?

Toilets & BasketBall & Spiders

Sooooooo, today is Tuesday <>

Okay, so I've got a crazy teacher for health class. Today, this one girl in my class wanted to go to the restroom. So she was like,

"Mister, I may I go to the restroom?"

"No, you may not."

"What the hell! *throws pencil & a tantrum* f*ck this sh*t."

*teacher ignores her*

*She whines* "Mister, I need to go!"

*teacher ignores her*

*5minutes later* I'm dosing off...

"Waverly! Follow her to the restroom." *points at the girl*

"What the f*ck!!!!! Am I a dog now? I need to be followed?!!"

I was like WTF! ( I didn't say this out loud duh) The toilet is down the hall! You can basically watch her walk to the restroom!!! He gives me a hall pass and the girl storms out of the classroom. She took her sweet time in the restroom. I waited for her outside. After about 5 minutes, the teacher walks out of the classroom and calls me to come back in. I walk back into the classroom and tell him that she's still in the restroom.

Then he says out loud, "Silly silly silly silly silly..."

I'm walking back to my seat and I roll my eyes. He doesn't see it obviously.

About 3 minutes later, the girl walk back in and she was like, "Omg, she's left me~" In a really bitchy voice. I didn't care I was sleepy. LOL

So yeah... that was weird....

And yay! Basketball with Alan today. Steve couldn't make it because he had Adult School. So it was just me practicing with Alan. First we did dribbling, then layups, then bounce pass, then chest pass and yupp...more more more... lol

I was better than the last time. I'm really glad XD
And I find layups easier than regular shooting. O_o that is so weird? is it? Idk...

Anyway, I enjoyed the passing. It was really funny, even though I got "hurt". LOL Alan passes hard and fast! I almost got hit in the face! And I got hit in the stomach, thigh, groin and shoulder multiple times!!! LOL Anywho, I had fun. ^_^

Thanks Alan...so... when's the next practice? LOL

Well, about an hour ago, my dad found a black widown in the bathroom. He killed it and went outside to check if there were anymore around. Oh boy, there were so many. He called me, my bro n sis and told us to look for black widows and kill it. We found a whole bunch of small ones and 10 big ones. O.O I am scared.

There were 3 under my sister's art table, which is where my sister spends a lot of time doing her art. I have to clean that place for her tommorrow. I don't want her getting bitten by any black widows. Ellie plays outside all the time too. >.< style="font-weight: bold;">OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So yeah, that's my Tuesday...

swimming anybody?

Okay, so no basketball today. Instead, I went for a swim. I was looking forward to swimming laps for about an hour. Unfortunately, I didn't get to swim at all! All I did was have a dip in the water and watch my brother jump off the diving board. The reason I did not get to swim was because you had to be 18 or older to swim on the lanes, even if you knew how to swim. >.>"

So all I got to do was stay in the crowded 3 feet side of the pool. It wasn't very nice. I kept getting splashed and every now and then I'd feel someone touch me. The water was SO DIRTY. Oh my goodness, it was YELLOW. o.o"

The only reason I stayed in the water was to keep my brother company, because they closed the diving area for a life guard training. Sooooo yeeeeaaaahhh...

Anyway, after half an hour, I couldn't take it anymore. The water just smelled and I got really annoyed by the splashing, so I got up. I rinsed and everything, went back to the pool area and sat at the waiting area. Then I waited another 30mins for my mom to come. I wish I brought my iPod or a book or something. Yeah. I will never leave my iPod at home ever again.

I don't think I want to swim in that pool ever again. And it just occurred to me that this is the FIRST TIME I swim in a PUBLIC pool. I definitely didn't like it. =.="

Hopeless

Okay, so now Alan's teaching me basketball. I feel really stupid in basketball cause I spent two hours trying to shoot 5 in a row in 3 different spots. The first two I got it, but the last one... oh man it took forever and I didn't get my 5th hoop in. T_T

It was really frustrating... =.="
I got pissed off.
I wanted to bite the ball and punch it and kill it and deflate the life out of it.

Steve said I was hopeless... I kinda feel like that >.>"

But I still want to learn...

*drum rolls please* pat your tummy or the table... anything... LOL I scored... *deep breath* a > 5 < ON THE AP BIOLOGY EXAM!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is so awesome. A 5 is like the highest possible score you can get and I am ecstatic!!! I worked really hard the whole school year and oh my gosh it totally paid off! <3 Biology~ I love you! I take back all the mean things I wrote on the AP examination paper, you never saw it. I never wrote it. hehe =D

I also got a haircut yesterday.
And I cut it short.
Basically more than 1 feet of my hair has been cut off.
I got the funniest responses.
There were basically 3 types of reactions:

• love it
• hate it
• is that you?!

Some people like Cathleen were like, "OMG! I LOVE YOUR HAIR, SEXY!!!!"

Others like Fenny were like pouting and said to me, "Why'd u cut your hair? I like it looonnnggg!"

And a lot of people did not recognize me.
I was waiting for my mom outside school and I saw Michelle.
She had the weirdest expression.
I was like why is she looking at me like that?
(my hair duh~i totally forgot)
I waved at her and her expression changed
and she ran up to me.
"I didn't recognize you with your hair and all! I didn't wanna wave at your just in case you weren't you, I didn't wanna embarrass myself!"

Passing Out

Okay so I mentioned in my last post that I was sick and I still am a little bit but getting better!!! Not yesterday though, yesterday my condition seemed to have gotten worse. I mean reallllyyyy bad.

I woke up yesterday feeling much better compared to the first day I got sick. My nose was less stuff I was KINDA able to breathe and when I coughed it didn't hurt anymore. I did feel a little tired so I took a nap around 10ish again and woke up around 12:30. For some reason I was really really really hungry and I felt like I needed some food. When I woke up, my body actually ached and it was really hard to get out of bed. I managed to get out of bed and to the dining table. I saw my brother and I told him I wanted to eat too. So he shouts to my mom who's in the kitchen that I want food too. Lol.


Anyway, my whole family was at the dining table and we were going to start eating. My mom she told me to go tie up my hair because my hair was messy I guess. So, I was like okay and I went to tie up my hair. By this time I felt really dizzy. I walk into the bathroom to get my hairband and it was a total failure. I was just about to grab the hairband and I blanked out. Everything was dark and I remember crashing into a wall and that was it. I woke up and the first thing I was thinking was that my lips hurt a lot. Apparently I had bit my lips and it was bleeding. The next thing I realized was that I was actually on the floor. It was really weird. I couldn't move my body. My body felt really heavy and I could lift it up. My parents heard me crash into the wall and the came rushing and found me on the floor. lol My mom was like wiping my face with her hands and she said I was sweating a lot. I didn't notice that until she mentioned it. I was like covered with a whole lot of sweat. It was crazy. You have to work out like massively to get the amount of sweat I was sweating out!

I lay on the floor for about 10 minutes. I didn't have the energy to get up yet. But when I finally had enough energy, my mom helped me up and took my the the sofa. I was like so dazed. And I told my mom I wanted to eat. I was seriously hungry. Lol. My mom was like okay and she brought me a bowl of porridge. I ate it slowly because I didn't want to throw up or anything.

It felt so weird to pass out. o.o"

But yeah, I'm feeling way better today I'm going to rest and hopefully I can last 8 hours in school tomorrow.

UCLA UniCamp & Sick

I got back from the UCLA UniCamp yesterday and it was soooo awesome! Unfortunately, I am sick. =.="

This morning I woke up at 9am with a sore throat. I was sweating like crazy and feeling cold. I took a hot shower and I felt much much better. Then I went back to sleep around 10am. I slept for 3 hours which means I woke up at 1pm. I ate a little bit, then I went back to sleep around 2pm. I was half asleep for about 2hours. I just stayed in bed. Then around 5pm I fell asleep again. I woke up at 6pm and my stomach was really hurting. gosh. I tried to eat, but I didn't really have an appetite. I took a tiny bite of rice and I felt nauseated. After that I took another hot shower. And then just sat in my room with a heat pad for like an hour plus till it was 8pm.

I felt really sleepy but I couldn't fall asleep because I had already slept so much. But just resting made me feel a whole lot better.

I'm glad I didn't get sick when I was at camp. hehe. =D Speaking of camp, I think I'll just blog about my first day there.

I got to school around 9:45am and left at 10am. There were only 10 students from Lincoln that went. So everyone had their own seat. The ride was pretty smooth until we got to the foothill of the mountain. The bus over-heated and broke down, luckily there was another bus behind us. That bus had the San Pedro students if I am not mistaken.

There weren't a lot of students on that bus either and everyone still had a whole seat to themselves. When we were halfway up that bus broke down too! LOL We had to stop and wait for about 30mins for the bus to cool down. After that, I fell asleep for about 20mins. When I woke up we had just arrived at the camp site.

We got off and put our luggage in a pile and a bunch of counselors started talking to me and my friends. They were like, you have to choose a "camp name." I was like, "What?" They told me that everyone would have a camp name while they were at UniCamp. We were not suppose to use our real names or call other by their real names. Or else we would have to kiss a tree!!!!!! This is a whole new level of loving trees.

It was about 3ish ,by the way, and 4 other school arrived between 3-4pm. When everyone had arrived, we were taken to the camp fire site and separated into our "units." I was in Unit 5 and had 4 roommates and 3 counselors. We had awesome camp names - Moon, Rogue, Dangerous Tiger (DT), Thyme. My counselors were - Mommy, Lemur and Sunshine.

We got our stuff and then moved into our "cabin." It wasn't really a cabin. It looked like a "house" on stilts from the outside. The inside was basically 5 bunkbeds. It's actually part of the cabin. It even has a tiny toilet and shower at one end of the cabin. It had no door, the only thing that gave us privacy was a piece of cloth covering the doorway of the toilet and shower. Everything was new too, because new facilities were being added to the camp. Which was really cool.

And even though we had a shower and all, I didnt get to shower for 5 days anyway =.=" They called this the "woodsey challenge", they said if you took a shower, bugs would be more attracted to you. I thought it was the opposite. Weird....

After we had settled in, we had to go for "line-up." Line-up was basically like a roll call. It was their way of making sure everyone was still in the campsite. No one dragged away and eaten my bears or mountain lions and stuff like that. We were given an orientation and told rules and all those typical stuff. Yup.

By that time, it was time for dinner. We got spaghetti, a piece of garlic bread, milk, 2 pieces of meatballs and umm yeah... I think that was it. Dinner wasn't long it only took about 25mins, after that we had duties. After every meal, each cabin have to do a duty that is assigned to them. Ours happened to be washing dishes that night. The counselors and staff were singing all these camp songs and when they called me out to lead it, I was like, "How does it go again?" LOL And I'd just repeat everything my counselor say and everyone would repeat after me. Haha. It was pretty awkward at first.

One of my favourite songs was the "Late Song." We sing it whenever a unit was late. It goes something like this.

When everyone was done with duties, we all met up in the "lodge." The activity was pretty boring. We were given different "cliques" of people and we were suppose to write it down on this huge piece of paper we were given in 1minute, then switch when time was up. When we were all done we were told to walk around and read the papers. And then we talked about steroetypes. Yup. I had nothing much to say. No one had much to say actually, besides the counselors and staff.

When it FINALLY ended, it was realllyyy dark outside and when I looked up I saw a whole bunch of stars and the moon. It was a cresant that night. I never saw it shine so brightly before. lol. It was beautiful.

We walked back to our cabins and had a debrief. Which was basically going through our day and talking about it. Yup. lol. Of course we brush our teeth, change and all but no shower =.=" Then it was sleepy time!
