I want to wish you all the best! =D It's your birthday today and I hope it is at least an OKAY day for you. I know it hasn't been such a great year for you. It must really suck. I think the worst part of it all (to me), is that I can't be there for you. Even if I was, you'd probably think I never understood you. =( Which really sucks. This year I have been realllyyyy busy myself and I haven't really had the chance to hang out with you. =(

But forget about the sad and bad things for the moment. =)

Thanks for being my friend Lily. I know we're really different. I'm obssessed with Malaysia and you're obssessed with dramas and stuff, but then I think of you as my best friend here. Its not easy finding friends. I don't really know what you think of me as, all I know is that sometimes I annoy you to death sometimes. LOL! But then most of the time I don't do it on purpose. Long week

I feel like this week has gone by ever so slowly, like a snail taking its sweet time. A lot of things happened and this week I started to stress over school. I have like so many projects and AP class to study for. >.<

Mandarin project was okay I guess. Poor Qiao didn't get to present hers at all. She had everything "perfect" and ready. Unfortunately, for her, she had to present it all in 30seconds after the bell had rung. Our teacher was like, "Okay, I know what that is. Next slide!" She didn't really let Qiao talk. Now Qiao is pissed off because she might get a bad grade for it. =X

All I have left is English. We have to read 10 poems, out of the 10, we have to annotate and study 5, analyze 3, immitate 2, and perform 1. The analysis is due Monday. Sigh. and everything is due May 1.

Worst off all is AP Biology. I MUST STUDDY!!! Two more weeks and its the exams.
My second time taking a serious examination! >.<

Funny funny day

Okay, so today was kind of funny.

In period 1 (Mandarin), I have to do this one project and it requires power point. So, I went to use to computer.

So my partners and I were like using the computer. I needed to put in my USB to show them my work. I plug in the USB, but it doesn't work. According to my friend, he said that I had to stick in my USB from the back of the CPU. I was like =.=" damn.

So I tried to do that. Unfortunately, not only was I unsuccessful, I happened to break the monitor too.

Okay, I was trying to plug in the USB, but the monitor was in the way. Sooooo I moved it just a litttttllllee bit.

You know what happened? I heard this realllyyy loud crack! And the freaking monitor almost fell on me! =O

Turns out the bottom of the monitor was broken. It was the base and was not very important. The monitor would work with or without it. So the guy flipped the monitor over to the side and tried to fix it. They were unsuccessful.

Cindy who was right next to me was laughing her ass off. She was making fun of me saying "Oh wow, Waverly, you're so strong!" LOL!!!

Since we couldn't fix it and the monitor would work with or without the base, we decided to put the monitor back and just put the base under the table.

Amazingly, our teacher did NOT notice. We were actually pretty noisy. I'm surprised she did not notice us! ahahahaha...

Insomnia?

So for the past week, my body has pretty much been acting weird.

What I mean by "acting weird" is that it isn't doing what it should do.

For example, I can't really fall asleep. It usually takes me 10minutes or less to fall asleep. But for the past few night, it has been taking me an hour or more to fall asleep. It really is irritating. I toss and turn in bed. It's really uncomfortable.

I also know that my body is used to 8 hours of sleep. Every single day (including weekends), from whatever time I sleep... count 8 hours and that is when I will automatically wake up. The weird thing now is that I wake up at the oddest hours. Just two days ago I fell asleep around 1 am and woke up at 4am. I felt perfectly normal and awake. I couldn't go back to sleep even though I wanted to.

When I'm at school, I'm always wide awake. But, recently, I've been feeling sleepy in my 3rd period. That is not cool! 3rd and 4th period are my favourite periods!!! (AP Biology =P)

What is happening to my circadian rhythm?!!

Also everyday after school, I will be hungry. (I don't eat school food, it is nasty.) But yesterday, I got home at 5pm and I had no appetite. Like none. At all. Don't get me wrong. Not trying to be bulimic or anorexic. I like food.

And I quote Lily, "Food is a pimp" ROFL!!!

My eye has been twitching too!! OMG!! Annoyinggg!! I've drank milk (for Ca+), ate bananas (for K+), some salty food (Na+), all those food with the salt ions! Nothing works!!! It is so annoying. It is twitching right now! =.=

I am sleepy now. I think I will go nap. Which is also weird because I never nap unless I am like sick.

What's happening to me?
Someone get a biologist and tell me what's going on!

Luminarias

Last night was YUCA's 15th anniversary party and it was great!
We went to Luminarias restaurant on Monterey Hills. It is reallllyyy pretty. The place isn't hard to find actually. It's like 2 minutes away after you exit the highway. LOL!

The party started around 6ish. So Vanessa came over to my house around 4 something to do her hair. We curled it. She looked pretttyy!! I liked her shiny dress; it had a pretty bow. I straightened my hair. lol It doesnt look any different, just neater. =P

Anyway, after that, we went picked up Phan, Nikki and Joey. We got there and I was thinking SWEET! xD So we get dropped of and the first thing Sophia says is... FREEZE! and took a picture of is. LOL

Omg! When I saw all my friend I was thinking, "EVERYONE LOOKS SO GREAT!"

Andy Ong was wearing a full suit and when I saw him I was like, "Andy! You look great!" and in return, Andy HU (who was standing next to me) said, "THANK YOU WAVERLY!" LOL Funny people.

Anthony looked really good too. Very handsome. haha.. It was my second time seeing him dressed up. First time I saw him dressed up was for Senior pictures. He was wearing a red shirt and a simple tie. Cool. =D

I notice a lot of girls liked the color BLACK. I guess because it was of the "formality". So, like... 90% of the girls had a black dress. I LOVED Karen's dress!! It was white white greenish patterns all over it! PRETTYYYY!!!!

Trinh's dress was really nice to! The top part from her bust up was a nice yellow color with a giant yellow flower and the bottom was a tight black. I was like, "Wow."

There was nothing much to do for the first hour. We just took pictures. Lots and lots of pictures. =D We signed in, got a "dinner ticket" and choose where we would sit. Phan, Joey, Vanessa and I sat at table 8 with Edward and Ken.

I love how the place was decorated. It was simple yet elegant like it was for a ball.

After that, I was some announcements from Dennis, a slide show about YUCA then till now, and more talking from Dennis. lol

In the middle of all that, dinner came. I got chicken. The food was okay. It was so dry. I had to keep drinking water. Speaking of drinks!!!! There was a private bar. I got a virgin Margarita. It was gggoooodd.... I like the sour taste. Vanessa man, she got drinks like 3 times! She got 2 Shirley Temples and 1 Virgin Margarita. I took a picture of it! But I can't find my USB thingy to connect my camera to the comp to upload the pics! >.< After all that was done, it was dance time. Hehe. It was fun. THEY HAD THE SONGS I LIKED!!!! There was Pokerface, Let it Rock, ChaCha Slide, Womanizer (I only like it because it reminds me of Cathleen), Disturbia, Circus... whooo awesome songs!

I danced so much, I started sweating. Haha.

Eventually, I couldn't dance anymore because my feet were hurting. Dancing in 2 inches are not THAT easy. Plus I was wearing a dress and it felt funny. hahaha. It was pretty stuffy inside too, so I went outside. It was soooo cooling and relaxing.

After a while, there was nothing much to do. So, I called my mom and asked her to pick me up. She took me, Vanessa and Joey home.

Good time. =)

And you know what?! I wish Alan was there. There was A LOT of Alumis!! Gah Alan! It would've been more fun if you came! lol.

Dress

Yesterday, my mom
took me and Phan
to the Ross in Pasadena
to buy a dress.
It was fun!
and I got a pretty nice dress.

We looked through the racks and found so many nice dresses! Phan looked so good in so many of the dresses, BUT she did NOT bring any money! Phan what is the point of shopping if you don't bring money?!

She told me that all she wanted to do was like hang out with me and try on dresses.
=) me too Phan! haha

Phan looked realllyyyyy pretty in this one dress that was white and had a black see through covering. There was a black ribbon that went around the waist and had a big regtacular dimond thingy. I was like PHAN YOU HAVE TO BUY THAT!!! <3>

There was another dress that she wore that look really good on her. It was silky white and had some green patterns on it. It was simple and had a fresh spring look. haha So cute. too bad I didn't get a picture of her in it =(

Me... well... my dress is a surprise. I don't want to say what it is because SOMEONE won't go to the YUCA dinner. And I am just making them... umm.. annoyed? LOL

All I'll say about my dress
is that it is
simple,
plain
and nice!
It's not too formal
and its not too casual either.
I like it!
haha

Totally suits my personality ;P

And I am soooo excited!
I can't wait for the dinner
because I have never dressed up for a dinner in a dress. =D
Yeap... I'll be wearing all those clothes people never see me wear. xD

Spring Break - Day 3

Today, a group of friends and I went to Elysian Park! It was lots of fun =D

So, these were the people that went to the park today:

Around 12:30pm, I had to go pick up Lily & Philip. We had some trouble finding their house, but it was all good. We eventually found it! I had mixed up the street name. >.<>

When we got to my house, I called up Vicky and told her to come over. She brought Jamie along! I was glad, because I had not hung out with them for a while. Until today of course!!
When we were all ready, we walked up to Elysian park!

Our first stop was the tennis court.

Some of us were playing tennis,
some badminton,
some the waveboard,
some just sat there,
some drinking water,
everyone rotated. haha

*This reminds me....I owe Lily $2. She bought Joseph & Audrey each a bottle of water.

Alan and Adrian (hehe! look their names both start with an 'A' and both end with a 'N'!) met us at the tennis court! Vanessa came later. She was wearing this cool pair of sunglasses! I liked the style, not the color though. hahaha

Our next stop was the basketball court! Almost everyone were shooting hoops! XD It was pretty fun. Alan didn't really do much. After like 10 minutes, he was like laying on the table. He looked like he was waiting for a massage. Instead, he got pokes! LOL It was funny.

After a while everyone ended up in the indoor basketball court which was right next to the outdoor court. hahaha. We played badminton inside!! I love badminton! I was so happy that there were REAL rackets and REAL shuttlecocks! Thank you Joey for bringing it. (She ,btw, came when we were at the basketball courts, Vanessa had to go to the bus stop and get her. LOL!) I liked playing with Joey and Adrian. They're good players. Good game XD

Oh... and we did some damage to the place too. EH HEM! SOMEONE! Crashed into the window and left a HUGE HUGE HUGE CRACK! and SOMEONE pulled the basketball net and BROKE IT! *COUGH*COUGH*

I took everyone up to the "View Point". It was cool. Everyone got up there and chilled.
When it was time to go, we all walked down. And most of us did not want to take the long way (because we are lazy people). So, we took a short cut.

In the middle of the road, we walked down a steep slope. Actually it was not THAT bad. Right guys? Was it that bad? I don't think so =D
You think it was steep Alan? What about you Adrian? LOL

All I worried about was getting pulled down by Lily and crashing into Alan AND Joey. Adrian was smart. He went down last. HAHA He wouldn't get crashed into! hahaha

Lily was all paniking! GOSH I WISHED SOMEONE HAD RECORD IT!!!! I'm so evil! LOL

We had BBQ,
My mom cooked alot.
There was hot dogs, chicken, pasta, watermelon, cucumbers, soda, marshmallows.
The marshmallows were HUGE! So puffy!!

While we all ate, we shared jokes. Everyone had a good laugh =D

Great start to my Spring Break.

Day 1 of Spring Break

So yesterday was officially DAY 1!! of spring break! I will blog about it... =D

Ummm it was a pretty slow day. Nothing much happened. I went to church, came home and yeah stayed home for the rest of the day except for about 30 mins... when I went out for a walk in the park. hehe

Church was okay. So, instead of sitting in service and not understanding anything, I help out at Sunday School now... and I have to say... its really boring too. I have nothing to do. Rebeka teaches the kids, I just sit there and do nothing. Aunty Chen teaches another group of kids... slightly older ones.

Soooo... I just sit there and listen to stories that I have heard a thousand times but have not heard in years. Yeap.

Well I get the "hard to haddle" kids. Like Max. He's a cute boy. He has an older sister that seems like he is very close to. They're not in the same group... because of the age difference. So, he gets pretty sad when he's not next to his sister. He makes faces and gives a sour attitude when he doesn't like something...and yesterday, he hid under the table and purposely cried... you know what I mean... the kid cries and he's not really crying...

Yeap. Kinda hard to handle.

Anyway, when I got home, I was great. My dad was sorting old family photo. It was so funny to look back at old pictures! I looked so different. I can't believe that was me. I also realize I've been to so many nice places when I was little. The most pictures were birthday pictures. If you actually look at the pictures.. you can see the change. It's like WOAH! lol

Oh yeah, then I went out for a walk too. There was nothing much and walking alone wasn't so nice. I just didn't want to stay in the house on such a nice day. The sun was all warm and bright, but not a fiery hot kind, you know. lol. It was kind of breezy too, which made the day nicer.

So anyway, the walk there was nothing special about it, except when I was walking home. My path and an old lady crossed. She looked (oh maybe) 75-80ish. So I was walking home and was obviously on the sidewalk, she was on the other side. And out of no where,

she goes like, "HEY!"
And she had this scary angry look.
I was looked at her and I was lik O.o"
And she stares at me.
Then about a few seconds later, she says,
"What happened to that little girl?!"
I was like, "I don't know?"
Inside my head I was like, "What is she talking about?! Hope she doesn't think I kidnap someone"
She keeps staring at me.
and then she started chuckling!
I was like WTH!
And she said, "Oh, look at you, you're all grown up. Used to be little, now so big...."
and she keeps mummbling on stuff
and chuckling.
I was like, "Ah Ha? ha? yeah?"
I smile at her and I walk away.

LOL!!!

Oh and since it's already "tommorrow" aka TODAY!

While even though it is this early in the morning, I do silly things.
I was taking pictures of myself making faces. hahaha
And My mom apparently woke up this early too... to use to bathroom.
So, she opened the door and saw me taking the pictures.
LOL! I was like, omg embarressing!
Cuz I don't like ppl watching me take silly photos of myself! LOL

Oh well!
Today is going to be awesome! =D

Excited!
But I have to go to the dentists in the morning first. Lol

I never said that the farmer would care if it was the original chicken or corn or fox.
I never said that the farmer couldn't eat the chicken and corn. lol

The answer:

The farmer BBQ's the chicken and cooks the corn
and has a feast...
Then he and the fox get into the boat
and row row row your boat gently down to the other side.

When the farmer and fox gets to the other side of the river,
the farmer will blame the chicken for eating the corn
and blame the fox for having KFC

and claim insurance!!!

Today is my beloved sister's birthday!

My mom bought her a really nice big cake. We brought it to church and celebrated it there ^^
Tomorrow, we're taking her to Micheal's (that art store) to buy her art supplies/ birthday presents!

Wow, time flies by so fast. She's already 11 years old. So fast!!

I remember my 11th birthday. It was my BEST birthday ever!
My party had only 2 guests. My two best friends in the whole wide world.

There is a farmer.
He has a chicken, a bag of corn and a fox.
He has to cross a river,
but he only has a small boat.
It can only hold 2 at a time.
That means, the farmer (himself) and one of his things.

However,
He cannot leave the chicken with the corn,
because the chicken will eat the corn.
He cannot leave the fox with the chicken,
because the fox will eat the chicken.

How does he get to the other side of the river
with ALL his things?
