Okay, so I went to Americana yesterday. It was REALLLLYYY nice. haha
The outside is like really pretty park and sunlight shines into all the stores.
Makes everything bright and not depressing

Anyway, I went around window shopping and my mom and I ended up getting some clothes. My mom bought Forever 21 clothes. LOL Thats cool, but kinda weird all the same. We brought my baby sister along, so I had to take care of Ellie when my mom was in the fitting room. While I was waiting for her, people kept looking at me like I was weird. THAT WAS WHAT I FEAR!! =O

Anyway, I got this really nice top. Bareback. So I had to get a cardigan to go with it. haha. I'd probably wear it plain bareback for a special occassion. =D

AND I WAS trying to look for this reallllllyyyy nice top at Marciano's!! I couldn't find it!!! D=<

Fun assignment!

Okay. So today, Ms. Lauer (my new awesome English teacher) gave us a really cool assignment. I have to say it was a really unique and fun "essay".

We had to write a something about ourselves... in S-I-X words.

It was so funny. People came up with really good ones.
It was hilarious. Everyone was laughing.

I like Kris' he wrote, "Yes, I still like Pokemon, mom."
Gotta love that one!

Another one was, "Can't see this? open you eyes!" by Lily
Michelle had a response to it, "Can't see 'em, open yours!"

Senh wrote, "It's just English homework, do later."
Ms. Lauer's response was, "It's just your future, no worries."

I think I was in a "horror" movie this morning...

I had the freakiest morning ever.
This morning made me feel like
I was in some kind of horror movie.
Seriously!

Okay so it was like 6am AND RAINING! really hard. A noise woke me up. When I got up and was actually conscious, I heard the phone. It was the sound of dialing numbers. I also heard the printer and it sounded like someone was scanning something. Those two noises are actually pretty normal to me. So, I thought, "Hey, maybe mom's doing something."

Sometimes my mom wakes up early to get some paper work done or to call Malaysia. (because of the time zone difference.)

Anyway, I was about to go back to sleep when I saw a flash come from the dining room. At the same time I heard the phone. Then that stopped and a flash came from the living room and at the same time I heard the printer (because that's where it was).

In my head, I was like, "What the hell is going on here?!"

The same thing kept happening again and again and again. I got kind of freaked out. So, I got out of bed to check out what was happening. I turned on my desk lamp and it started flashing too.

NOW I WAS REALLY FREAKED OUT!!!

I go to the living room and all the electronics were going crazy, making sounds, flashing and stuff. Then my mom comes up from behind me and I almost freaked out too. Thank God I didn't though. XD

I'm like, "Ma, there's something wrong with the house!"
She's like, "Yeah! What's happening!?"
Me, "I don't know... but the phone and printer are making sounds and the lights blink!"
She says, "Maybe there's a power outage or the fuse is not working right."

She goes outside to check things out. At the same time, my baby sister wakes up and started to cry. So I went to pick her up so that she wouldn't wake my dad up. I took her to my room to play. The lights and everything was still going on and off and making sounds.

I got goosebumps and I was thinking, "This is like some kind of scene in a horror movie. The house goes wrong. Someone goes outside of the house. Not to mention it is RAINING!!"

But my mom comes back in and she's not a zombie. XD She told me that there were firemen across the street. A power line broke and it was right on top of someone's house. DANGEROUS!!! That was causing all the things to go wrong in the house.

So I was like relieved. LOL

Then there was a power outage until 11pm this morning. So, I was eating breakfast in the dark. Brushing my teeth in the dark, Yeah. Pretty much doing everything in the dark. LOL

Finally the power comes back and I wanted to use the computer!!!
At first the computer wouldn't turn on!! -.-
Then, the keyboard wouldn't work!!!
THENN!!!! The mouse wouldn't work!! =.=""

I was like, THE COMPUTER BETTER WORK!!!

Then about 15mins later, it restarted it, and it worked! YAY!

That was my freaky President's Day Monday Morning.

Beauty & Ugliness?!

You know. I seriously don't get what is "pretty" or what is "ugly" anymore.
I was watching the "Chinese Ugly Betty" and it made me ask the question.

What is beauty?

I think beauty is whatever society tells you a "good" or "excellent".
I mean look at the magazines, the models and TVs.
I remember I watching discover channel and there was this one documentary that showed an African tribe that considered being "fat" or "overweight" BEAUTIFUL.

So all you pretty skinny girls, listen up!
"YOU'RE UGLY!!!"
haha I'm just joking.
I actually want to be skinny and taller myself.

But I still wonder.
Who put the "scale" there?
Who came up with the idea that beauty is "this, this and that."

But yeah this doesn't mean we can just go out looking all scruffy. We still have to look decent!!!!

A lot of times, I wonder what guys see as "beautiful". I mean, when I look at some girls and I say they are pretty, SOMETIMES the guys say otherwise.
And I am like... whatttt????????

When I was a younger, Elementry.
I used to think that people wearing glasses were "old" and "ugly".
Hahaha. I wear glasses now, but when I look around,
there are quite a few people who look BETTER when glasses.
Same for braces.
After I got braces, I thought I looked better with it.
But I'm not going to have braces forever.
That's just really troublesome.

Beauty is so subjective.
The saying, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." is very true.
